CREAMFIELDS IS COMING

August ’08 will see the 10th anniversary of Creamfields and this year the dance festival is set to be better than ever. The headlining acts of the all-star line-up include Fatboy Slim, Ian Brown, Paul Van Dyk and Kasabian, who have said they are “made up” to be headlining this year’s festival.

Creamfields has set out to prove it is bigger and better than ever by becoming a 2-day event for the first time and announcing the most diverse line-up ever seen at a dance festival. This year the emphasis will be on moving away from the traditional “dance and DJ” formula to include an eclectic mix of rock and dance, uniting over 100 world class DJs with some outstanding live bands, breathing fresh life into the dance festival.

The diverse line-up also includes Tiesto, Soulwax, Pendulum, The Gossip, Simian Mobile Disco, Roots Manuva, Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, David Guetta, 2many DJs, Pete Tong, Felix Da Housecat and Annie Mac, with more to be announced.

Creamfields ’08 will present live acts over 10 arenas, including some exciting new arenas such as the “Skins” arena and the “Radio 1 ‘introducing’ bus,” which will bring sounds from some of the UK’s new and emerging acts. There will also be past arena hosts returning such as “Chibuku & Annie Mac Presents” and the legendary “Main Stage.”

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Creamfields will showcase far more than just great music. There will be many other on-site attractions to provide non-stop entertainment and suit all tastes including skaters, BMXs, boutique camping, art exhibitions and contortionists.

Creamfields will be given exclusive coverage by Radio 1 who have described it as “the pivotal dance event in our live music calendar.” Stay tuned to Radio 1 for fresh announcements in the run up to the festival.
