LIKE AGINCOURT ALL OVER AGAIN…

On February 12th, Facebook finally gave in to thousands of Scousers who had been petitioning for a Liverpool Network. The move came, no doubt, as a result of the huge levels of membership to groups such as ‘Petition for a Liverpool Network’ by members who were dissatisfied with Facebook’s suggestion they join the Manchester network. The campaign was also supported massively by the local media, including direct communication between Radio City’s David Johnson and Facebook’s Chief Executive.
The network was established at 10.30am and by 1pm, membership was already at 660. Now at 22,000, it is still growing rapidly.
