I’D RATHER HAVE THE LEAGUE

It’s far harder to win the league because, in Europe, you can lose half your games and still lift the trophy in May whereas, in order to win the league, you need sustained pressure and consistency for an entire season. Winning the Champions League is still quite an achievement but it gives a false impression of improvement. To truly return to the glory days of old, Liverpool FC need to be the best team in England and lift the Premiership trophy.
