MORE RITZ THAN THE RAZZ?

Tuesday 22nd January saw the launch of new student night ‘Taboo’ at Chaya (formerly The Tea Factory), marketing itself with the somewhat paradoxical title ‘Liverpool’s Classiest Student Night’. Chaya is certainly an attractive venue, its darkened booths, sleek furnishings and beautiful bar staff making it a likely haunt for the avid Hollyoaks spotter. Taboo’s prices are also surprisingly reasonable, with a double and a mixer for £2.50, bottles of Kronenbourg for £1.50 and sambuca shots for £1. For those of you who prefer their nights out with a little reassuring grime (both on the floor and out of the speakers), perhaps give it a miss, but for those in search of classier climes, it definitely delivers.

Taboo is on every Tuesday night at Chaya. Entry is £2.
