GIRLS: WHAT’S HOT AND WHAT’S NOT ON A DATE

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner and Cupid shooting those arrows left right and centre, the dating season is in full swing. However, although we all like to be asked on a date, sometimes we often wonder- are they more trouble than they are worth? I mean, we stress endlessly over our outfit to be aided only by a chaotic mound of ‘potential little numbers’ and an inexistent bedroom floor. To make things worse we are still burdened with the typical cliché of ‘Does my bum look big in this?’ and worry ourselves stupid over the thought of running out of things to talk about and him finding us boring or stupid. To ensure a second date success on the first date is crucial, so girls to help you get rid of those pre date nerves and stresses I’ve asked a selection of girls and guys what’s hot and what’s not on a first date.

First and foremost make sure you relax, I know that may sound typical but it’s only when you are relaxed that you start to feel comfortable with someone and can get past boring small talk. If you go out for a meal try not to order messy foods like spaghetti or fajitas, no one finds bolognaise sauce dripping from your chin attractive. You should always be honest on a first date, you never know when those white lies will come back to haunt you missy! Talking about you ex is a major mood killer and remember to listen as well as talk about yourself, there’s nothing worse than coming across too vain and self indulgent. Even if you don’t plan on going further than kissing, matching underwear, sexy perfume, smooth legs and killer heels really do give a great confidence boost.
