THE GLOVES ARE OFF IN THE BATTLE FOR SATURDAY NIGHT TELLY

Welcome to the biggest ratings battle in the history of Saturday night television. In the blue corner with 8.7 million viewers we have the ever-surprising, the family favourite, Strictly Come Dancing. And in the red corner with 7.8 million viewers it’s the talent-showcasing, the highly entertaining, X Factor. Representing Strictly in the fight to win over the British public we have the age-defying Bruce Forsyth and the gorgeous Alesha Dixon, whilst flying the flag for X Factor it’s the man at the top Simon Cowell and the Queen of Darkness herself Sharon Osbourne.

And X Factor is off to a strong start, Mrs. Osbourne has certainly got the claws out tonight, she’s really laying the criticism on Alesha there. It seems Brucie is trying to joke his way out of a brawl with Simon Cowell, but he’s just not getting any laughs. But what’s this?! Simon Cowell has just noticed his archrival Louis Walsh in the crowd, who has been booing Simon from the sidelines, and has gone under the ropes to take a swing at him! Alesha has managed to take advantage of the situation and is jiving her way around Sharon now. Who will come out on top? It appears that Brucie and Alesha have cleverly teamed up to create a deadly combination of old school charisma and youthful enthusiasm; this could be it for X Factor…
