FESTIVE FUN IN VINCE VAUGHN SEASONAL COMEDY
When it comes to what you want from a Christmas film, this one hits the nail on the head. Filled with snow, twinkly lights and bright red costumes, it sure gets you in the mood. I’m somewhat of a Vince Vaughn fan anyway, so it’s a given that it didn’t take much for him to win me over. But credit where it’s due, he was on top form in this one, as were the all star cast including Kevin Spacey, Paul Giamatti and Ludacris.
This film never sets out to win Oscars, it’s just there to give you a few seasonal laughs, and even leaves you with the feeling that you want to go out and buy some random kid a present. Beat that Golden Compass!
